CRAG
The next CRAG meeting will be on Wednesday 7th March from 7.00- 8.30pm in Cowie Primary School and pupils from both schools will be giving a short presentation about the discussions around the open space in Cowie. Councillors will be present at the meeting. This will hopefully give an agenda for improvements in the area.
Joint working
P6 classes form St Margaret’s and Cowie are working together on the Divided City project this term.
Building work
All snagging and maintenance issues have been highlighted to the council and should be repaired by the end of the financial year.
Health and Safety
The traffic meeting took place on the 2nd February. We collected the issues from all at the meeting and the main points for action are to try to change attitudes i.e. encourage parents not to drive to the school and encourage children to want to walk to school with their friends. Vivienne Innes agreed to contact Mac’s re: delivery times and First Bus re: buses using Mount Oliphant during peak periods.
Our JRSOs have been out in the playground this week encouraging parents and pupils to use the pedestrian gate on Mount Oliphant.
